Kid's Ministries

Our mission is to raise up the next generation to love God and love each other and the best way to do that is to teach and show our kids the love of Christ.

Sunday mornings

We have a number of programs designed specifically for your child no matter their age.

Come and check them out!

Nursery care is available for ages 0-3 years.

True north

True North Kid's Ministry meets every Sunday morning at 10:30 for kids in K-5th grade.

Last summer was a great summer with our kids!  Some of the kids attended Kid's Camp at our district headquarters in Carlinville in June and quite a few participated in our 3rd annual Hike-A-Bike-A-Trike-A-Thon to raise money for BGMC in July!

Keep an eye out for what's coming next!  And remember to bring those Buddy Barrels on the first Sunday of each month for BGMC!

Our Sonbeams Kids Ministry meets every Sunday morning at 10:30am.  This is for children ages 4-5 years old. It is a ministry specific to making the word of God understandable to younger children who have wiggles and giggles.

Wednesday night programs

We have classes on Wednesday evenings at 6:45pm for all kids, ages 4 years through 5th grade.

Come check them out!

Nursery care is available for children 0-3 years.

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ)

We have just launched our Junior Bible Quiz Program at Minier Assembly under the direction of Children's Pastor, Marianne Marsiglio, and head coaches Jeremy & Jennifer Welch.  The kids, grades 1-5, will compete in five meets starting in October and going through April.

While the team has already been set for this season, any kids in this age group are welcome to join in on our practice sessions to help their friends prepare for the tournaments and learn about the Bible for themselves!  Win-Win!

The JBQ Program helps kids master Bible knowledge and their faith grows deep in their heart.

Children ages 3-5 years old really enjoy our Rainbows program!  Rainbows provides an exciting theme for the Bible stories, crafts, activity pages and games for this preschool club. Rainbows add colorful animal badges to their vests as they complete requirements for the achievement program.
